Our Mission

We pray that we can offer the same opportunities for growth that have been afforded to us. We are here as a platform for change. We are constantly working towards alignment for our guests. Every ceremony is prefaced that it be exactly what is needed for the best interest of each participant.

0ur prayer is that all of our guests are given the tools they need to be authentic, be of service, and be the best version of themselves going forward.

Our healing collective, The Spirit Cooperative was founded by Chase Moore and Anna Retka in 2019. They welcomed their daughter, Maria Grace, into the world in August of 2020.

Jenny Beth Jordan and James Short joined the group in 2023, where all five of us live in The Sacred Valley, Peru.

We see our guests as extended family and welcome anyone that is called to work with San Pedro.

Chase Moore

Chase was born and raised in Tennessee in the US. He’s a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has been teaching for over a decade.

He’s dedicated 8 years to working with the plants and 6 years exclusively with San Pedro. If he’s not holding ceremony or teaching jiu jitsu, he’s with the loves of his life Anna and Maria Grace.

Anna Retka

Anna was born and raised in Poland in a small town an hour outside of Warsaw. She worked in London for almost 10 years before starting her travels around the world.

She has traveled across Europe, India, Asia, and the Americas before settling in Peru. Anna has been practicing Swedish massage and reiki for many years and offers those practices in intuitive one-on-one healing sessions.

Since 2020 she is also a full time mother to little Maria Grace.

Jenny Beth Jordan

Jenny Beth was born and raised just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. As a registered nurse, Jenny Beth’s desire has always been to bring healing and wholeness through her work. She began working with huachuma in 2014 as a part of her own spiritual journey and has continued to study with her teachers, Bernhard Karshagen and Chase Moore, ever since. She has a deep love for huachuma and its powerful ways of showing how we can bring compassion to all the parts of ourselves in order to live more authentic, wholehearted lives.

James Short

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, James made his way to Peru in February 2020, where he first began working with Chase and huachuma. Since then he felt the call to serve the medicine, and in 2021, he moved to Peru and began intensive work with the plant. James is currently deepening his relationship with the huachuma as he grows into a practicing huachumero. In the midst of all his medicine work training, James met Jenny Beth, they fell in love and are getting married in June 2025.
